This was an interesting episode. It wasn’t the best,
but it was interesting. We all have a different perspective on the murder. Through Veronica’s imagination, we have seen
a few possible scenarios of Lilly’s death. Each member of the Kane family might have had a reason to kill Lilly, but
none are valid. I’m starting to doubt Celeste’s innocence as well as Duncan’s. Celeste is a witch and Duncan is epileptic.
Furthermore, the deal with Amelia deLongpre has been settled. Time is running out for the Mars clan.
The whole think with Amelia kind of warned me out. I never
knew how much she knew about the mystery. I liked how she was getting this mysterious cash and she never questioned anything.
Smart people. Then, she had the nerve to betray Veronica thinking she can no longer
trust her. I think Veronica was right not to tell her about her father’s condition. It would have clouded Amelia’s
judgment. She would have then refused the payoff and she would fight to save her father. That’s going against everything
her father accomplished. He’s trying to give his daughter a clear future. This man has a good heart. All he wanted was
redemption. With this deed, he expects his daughter to be happy. With her knowing the truth, the past year in a prison cell
would have been worthless. He would be liberated and his daughter would not have received the payoff. As much as I hate the
Kanes, I believe that Abel is a decent man. I hope he’s set free.
The whole plot with Sabrina and the Kane scholarship pissed
me off. I hate people that have it all and still find a way to complain. Sabrina was going through a hard time. Tough. Deal with it. Hamilton worked a 20-hour job while
in school. He still manages to be in the top place. Sabrina’s family could probably have afforded any college that accepted
her. Now, Hamilton must refuse the acceptance to Oxford and must
therefore attend UCLA. Personally, I think Veronica should have kept her mouth shut. She knew that Hamilton needed the scholarship. Now I’m depressed. You get depressed so easily?
I liked how Caz was the suspect all along and he tried expressing his love for Sabrina by stating that if ever she wanted
him to jump off a roof, he would do it. That guy is sick. But as a father, I’m surprised that Hamilton’s dad went as far as hiring a private investigator to disturb Sabrina from her studies. Of course, he had
to hire Vincent Van Lowe. He must be the only PI that would accept such an offer. That scene in the window when he’s
singing to Veronica was great. Veronica was just too good. Anyways, Hamilton showed real
class when he accepted to resign from the race. I wish him well. It’s a show.
Relax.
Logan has witnessed
one of Duncan’s fits. Logan has become an understated
person. I hate to say this but I think his mother’s death was the best thing that could happen. It made him human. I
was intrigued when he read all the Lilly Kane files on Veronica’s computer. I thought he was going to go ballistic.
He’s changed.

Quotable Quotes
-
Veronica: “Today marks the beginning
of that orgy of tension known as midterms.” It’s true. They’re a killer.
-
Veronica: “Why is it that the Cazes
of the world are forever in transit between their romantic failures and the gym?”
-
Caz: “You know if you asked, I would jump off the roof?”
Sabrina: “Can I get you to stop that?”
Veronica:
“Ask him to jump.”
-
Keith: “You want me to find a call girl
for your husband?”
-
Veronica: “Caz, you were lurking. The
innocent rarely lurk.”
-
Keith: “Guess who stopped by today.”
Veronica: “If
you say Josh Hartnett, I am gonna be so bummed.” Loved this one.
-
Veronica: “I'm not an
expert on the male mind. So maybe someday someone can tell me what it is about chrome, glass, and fake black leather that
are supposed to represent masculinity.” I like chrome.
Some Final Notes
-
The transaction is done. Amelia’s got
her money and Abel’s going to rot in jail. I hate the Kanes.
-
No Wallace in this episode.
-
Sabrina was a pain. I’d rather see Meg.
-
Is Veronica a candidate to win the scholarship?
-
I cracked up when I saw the girl kick her
locker. Midterms are like that.
-
Jake and Celeste gave Veronica some ugly looks
when she came in.
This was a good episode,
but not the best. 3 stars
