Holy Mother of Rambaldi! Just when I thought the Rambaldi
storyline had become a has-been, the writers pull this awesome twist. Sydney is drawn on page 47 of the Rambaldi manuscript. The episode also had some great moments: the
dinner party at Sloane’s house, Francie’s hysterical recovery from her breakup and Will’s kidnapping. Will
is finally off the SD-6 case. We can breathe now.
There were some amazing scenes this week that are bound to
become classic. I loved when Sydney and Francie both took off their rings together. Francie is the kind of person who has
always dreamed of getting married; Sydney isn’t. For Sydney to have never
taken off the ring, it means that Danny’s death had a major impact on her life. Now, after a few months, we finally
see a change in her. She’s smiling more and she’s having a bit more fun. Francie has also gotten over Charlie.
The letter she sent to her aunt was hysterical. I was crying of laughter. It’s
so typical of Francie. What I love about her though is that she will actually send that letter. She gets some sort of pleasure.
I hope that Francie and Sydney can finally get closer now that Charlie’s out of the way. I like when they hang out together.
The scenes in Sloane’s house were great. I was panicking
when Sydney was doing the switch. I thought for sure that Sloane was going to walk in on
her. I kept thinking. What would happen if he ever walked into his office? What could she do? What would Jack do? Emily, Sloane’s
wife, is a vulnerable woman who’s recovering from leukemia. I felt for her when she started crying. That article that
Will wrote really touched her. I loved how Will’s winning article story sounded a lot like Sydney’s life at SD-6. I’m glad he won the whatever-it’s-called prize. I’m not good with names. I found it a bit dark that Sydney used
Emily to get into Sloane’s house. I wouldn’t feel comfortable doing that. Anyways, Amy Irving as Emily was a great
addition to the cast and I hope we see more of her. Jen Garner and she are excellent together. Jennifer Garner is always excellent,
just to make that clear to everyone. I sometimes get overprotective. On a side not,
Sloane’s house was gorgeous.
Jack finally took care of Will. I’m glad he threatened
Will a bit. At least now we know he’s completely off the story. Jack sure did scare him and I did laugh out loud when
Jenny dumped him in the middle of nowhere. I hope Will never figures out the truth. At least he’s safe now. Sloane was
ready to slice his head off. Sydney would just kill Sloane if that ever happened. I think I might get to him first.
Rambaldi is going to become a big part of the show. Sydney went undercover as a ditsy-blonde to recover the Rambaldi documents on the K-Directorate boat in Tunisia. She intervened right in the middle of the Sark/K-Directorate tradeoff. Do you all think that Sydney is the one who is illustrated on page 47? I liked how they tied in ampoule storyline with this one. They explained
its importance. I love this show.
Syd’s Tips
-
When escaping from a shooter in the dark,
trick the shooter by putting a life-sized doll in an elevator. When the attacker is distracted by the doll, attack him from
behind. He will be knocked out.
