After four episodes, Sydney has finally felt the painful consequences of being a double agent. Until now,
she has had simple dead drops and easy switcheroos. Now comes the big test. Was she able to see her new comrades from the
CIA explode to little pieces and look indifferent? Was she able to keep a straight face in front of Dixon? The answer shocked me.
I was thrilled to see an episode focusing on Marcus Dixon.
He is a great spy with a great heart. He is a normal family man who loves his children, loves his wife and loves his job.
However, is he ready to learn that the job he was meant to do is a fake? Is he ready to hear the lies? Is he ready to be a
double agent? Vaughn brought up these significant questions. The CIA cannot corner Dixon and hire
him as part of the team. He has his family to worry about. When the truth does hit the surface though, he will be hurt. He
expects the truth from his partner and Sydney has not been honest. But if Dixon were in
Sydney’s shoes, would he tell her? Would he willingly risk her life? Interesting.
What pisses me off about this scenario is that Dixon would never in a million years attempt to murder anyone. If Dixon ever does
learn the truth, will he handle the responsibilities of his actions? Will it overwhelm Dixon? Will
he forgive Sydney? He was just acting like a good agent. He brought a secondary detonator. Should
he be punished for this?
I also loved Jack in the episode. We learn that he’s
done something bad and then we see him do good. He saved Agent Kelvin from the hands of the devil. Kelvin was so brave to
accept the assignment. I would have freaked out. Imagine staring into Sloane’s eyes and lying right in his face. You
know what he can do to you. He’s a psychopath, but Jack came to the rescue. Then we learn that he was investigated by
the FBI. What did Jack do? Was he somewhat evil in the past? Is he trying to redeem himself? But, let’s think about
this. It can’t be that bad because he was never in jail. What is case 332-L? Jack sure will be pissed when he finds
out that Syd read his file. Is there more than meets the eye? Always.
Sloane was depicted once more as truly evil. He’s been
acting under the radar for the past few episodes but we now know why I call him the devil. He’s quick to use pain and
torture as a solution. Furthermore, we learn that his wife Emily is sick. Jack asked, “Why aren’t you at home
with Emily?” Who would marry Sloane?
Will actually met this woman named Kate Jones. It wasn’t
Sydney though. Who is this freak? She said she was having an affair with Danny. What??!!
That’s not possible. Why was her social security number expired? Is someone acting like Sydney’s alias? Has this woman been hired? This cannot end well.

Quotable Quotes
-
Bodyguard: “Recognize me now?”
And always just as ugly.
-
Vaughn: “Did you ID the Alliance member?” Did you want her to bring him in too? She saved Dhiren Patel’s life. Relax.
-
Sydney: “I think you’ve put down everyone we’ve met since Grade
7.” They’ve known each other that long?
-
Sydney: “What’s Will doing here?”
Francie: “Maybe
he’s here to talk about that humiliating kiss.”
Sydney: “Stop calling it that.”
Francie: “That’s
what it was.” It was humiliating.
-
Will: “Don’t deny it. Don’t
wait. Don’t piss me off.” Loved this. He’s right. Francie should call Charlie.
