This whole episode centered on the Black Rock’s brig
and it turned out to be a really fun brig. We will hopefully never have to see Anthony Cooper again as Sawyer thankfully killed
him. I was so happy. Swine like that doesn’t deserve to live. There were so many good scenes in this episode it’s
hard to count.
I do firmly believe that Anthony Cooper wasn’t meant
to stay on the show. He was just completely evil. The fact that he began telling Sawyer that his mother meant nothing to him
and that she was one in a hundred is just disgusting. I can’t blame Sawyer for killing him. The strangling scene might
have been one of my favourites ever. Josh Holloway worked his magic one more time as I honestly felt the intensity in my living
room. I was even feeling the sweat and heat in the air.
Both actors played their parts beautifully. You have to admire
Anthony for just sticking to his assy attitude all the way down the road. He didn’t dare apologize to Sawyer. He was
too good for that. That’s what he thought. I think it takes an incredibly
evil man to stick with those beliefs until the end. He didn’t seek redemption and he didn’t try and make amends
for his past mistakes.
I enjoyed knowing that Sawyer and Locke had some kind of
common bond. They both shared the same “enemy.” I liked how Locke went to Sawyer to kill his father. It shows
a lot about him. After all his father has done to him, he was still unable to strike the final blow. Is it honour or just
the love he has for his daddy? Locke does work in mysterious ways and I think Sawyer deep down appreciates what he did for
him. He finally gave him closure. Finally.
I loved how the letter reappeared this week. Sawyer, I don’t
think, was going to kill Anthony. He wasn’t going to do anything to him. It’s only when Cooper tears it to pieces
that Sawyer violently reacts. He poured his heart and soul into that priceless confession. To have it so thoughtlessly torn
up provoked him. He was unstoppable after that. Anthony ruined his childhood and even his adult life. James became Tom Sawyer.
Although the episode was partially flashbackless, we’ll
consider in a no-flashback episode. I liked this concept. It kept the show moving and it answered the questions we had about
Locke’s disappearance after “Left Behind.” It was fast and it was easy. It was very satisfying actually.
I loved the scene where Ben tries humiliating Locke in front of the whole camp. I just
wished Locke would whack him one. There’s something about Ben that gets to me. I hate his cocky attitude and the
way he thinks people bow down to him.
I’m glad Locke didn’t fall into his hands. What
is this new journey he’s on? Why couldn’t he return to the camp with Sawyer? What is he hoping to find with Ben?
What has he promised him? And if he’s returning, does that mean that Ben will completely initiate him into the Others?
What is Ben’s final plan?
Okay, Kate really aggravated me this week. She actually pissed
me off and I never say that. Why would she just run to Jack like a little puppet? That pissed me off dearly. What is her problem?
What about “he is compromised” does she not understand? I hope she finally gets the point now that she saw Jack
refuse to tell her something really secret. Does he know about Juliet’s mole activity? That seems to obvious to me.
If he is working with the Others, he’s going to now
found out about Naomi. Again, let me say how much I love Marsha Thomason. That radio-phone thingy she had was cool. That looked
like the iPhone. I’m dreaming. I want one. At least we know now that she
was indeed working for Penelope. She works for a private company. Long story short, she landed on the island and she might
be their way out.

Some Final Notes
-
I freaked when Locke told Sawyer his whole
story. How do they know so much about everyone?
-
I really thought Locke had Ben all this time.
-
We learnt today that the magic box is just
a metaphor.

People have to start listening to Desmond.
He knows what he’s talking about when he asks not to involve Jack.

Naomi promises not to rescue Sayid.
-
Naomi says the island is in the middle of
the ocean.

I’m so happy they returned to the Black

-
Sayid got a high-pitch sound after turning
on that phone thingy.
-
Locke thanked Sawyer for killing his father.
I think we can all thank him.
-
What is Jack and Juliet not telling Kate?
Is he in on this whole thing?
