This was a good episode. We got some major developments on
the Lilly Kane murder mystery, we got a nice investigation into a secret organization living in the halls of Neptune High
and most importantly, Logan’s family is going through some rough times. It was a full episode with lots to talk about. So, in the words
of…me, let’s dig in.
Has Lynn Echolls committed suicide? Did she jump off the
bridge? Scary stuff. I thought she was a bit too dramatic. “I can’t
take this anymore,” she says. If she really loved her husband as she claims to, she never should have ever sold any
secrets to the media. I hope she’s not dead. If she is, this would be too much for Logan. He might lose it himself. I’m also sick and tired of Aaron. He is
despicable. He’s a rat and I hope Logan gets around to killing him. Relax.
It’s harsh but he deserves it. He is putting his family through constant misery. Logan has to
hear lies and gossip about his mother on the radio while he’s being mocked at school. I find this a funny scenario.
Logan knows what Veronica went through and it’s about time. For years, he’s walked down
the hallways like the big man on campus, while Veronica suffered through rejection and solitude. He got what he deserves for
being a big influence on Veronica’s unhappiness. I know I’m being harsh, but I’m glad to see that the enemy
gets what he deserved. I do hope though that Lynn doesn’t die. That will just tear Logan apart.
The episode also felt strange because each character had
their own problems to deal with. There was very little interaction between them (except for Wallace and Veronica). I was so angry when Lamb came in to arrest Veronica. I hate when our heroes get embarrassed in front of
everyone. I get angry. I take it personally. When I saw her walk down that hallway,
I was telling myself, ‘You better prove them wrong, Veronica.’ I loved how Veronica is chosen to be blamed for
everything. Rick had to put those cards in her locker. It’s unbelievable. Although I did like her singing in the café,
I thought the storyline with the Tritons to be anticlimactic. They weren’t behind any of the incidents. That frustrated
me.
We have to talk about the meetings in Rebecca James’
office. This has moved the plot 10 kilometers forward. Weevil was stalking Lilly. She dumped him right when Logan wanted her back. He was so torn up about it as he wrote poems. Logan blames
Veronica and himself for Lilly’s death. He’s suicidal. What other pills is Duncan taking?
What are his episodes? Is he epileptic? I love this show.

Quotable Quotes
-
Veronica: “I know how I’m going
to feel better, and it’s not talking about how sad I am.”
-
Veronica: “Sending out the big guns
this morning. I’m flattered.” I loved this one.
-
Veronica: “Hi, Dad. Their case is fuzzy
and circumstantial.”
Keith: “You
know the odd thing? Those were also her very first words?” Loved this one even more.
-
Wallace: “La femme Veronica.
I heard it took three officers and a stun gun to haul your butt out of school.”
-
Veronica: “This is a two
hundred and fifty dollar piece of crap. Now I'm not just falsely accused, I'm genuinely offended.”
-
Veronica: “Was Weevil
her big secret?” I don’t think so.
-
Logan: “What is so great about living?” This scared me.
-
Veronica: “Hi, everybody! Say ‘repressed
homosexuality.’”
-
Lamb: “Veronica Mars is smarter than
me.”
Veronica: “Oh,
you stop it!” She set that up.
Some Final Notes:
-
Kristen Bell can really sing.
-
Duncan can’t sing for his life. Neither can I.
-
These locker room searches are hysterical.
-
I love Veronica’s tracking devices.
She can follow anyone.
-
The Locker 110 plot was cool. Sneaky stuff.
-
Love how Veronica was under that blue tarp.
Loved the episode. It wasn’t
perfect. 4 out of 5 stars.
