I love these random episodes. They have no connection to
the Lilly Kane murder, but they always have a strong message. We had a gripping story with a nice twist and a secondary plot
filled with family turmoil. These episodes get my juices flowing and if I don’t start writing, I’ll start rambling.
Pull it together! I’m ready!
Could this guy Bone be any scarier? He’s intimidating.
He once held a man over the ledge of a window to force the guy to sign a contract. That’s insane. I wonder how his wife
lives with him. Furthermore, I loved the list he compiled. Now remember, that was just concerning the people who lived in
the LA/San Francisco area. He asked if he needed to compile a list of enemies in other cities. He’s so casual about
his life. “I’ve got a few deals going down soon,” he says. I wonder what kind. I liked how his son Bryce
proved to his father that he wasn’t a coward. He pulled that whole scheme off by himself. He’s got guts and brains.
I even liked how he was keeping the truth about Yolanda from his father. What an eavesdropper!
We got some more flashbacks. I loved them. Had Yolanda really
made a move on Logan or was he just an ass? The latter seems like a good assumption. Lilly also wasn’t very nice. She wanted to
get rid of Logan. So what if Yolanda kissed him. Give it a break! Her pride got hurt and she
couldn’t handle losing Logan on his terms. This is where I was mildly disappointed by Veronica. Why would
she leave the coolest person at Neptune? Yolanda was such a nice person… and still is. I loved how she threatened
her father. We should get more of her.
The Echolls storyline was amazing. I can talk about it for
hours. You’re getting ahead of yourself again. Can you believe Aaron? Does
he really expect some sort of pity? Logan was right to hate him. I hate him. We all hate him. He deserves no respect.
But I liked how he turned down the offer and he tried to chase all the journalists away. He earns some points, but it’s
not good enough. Logan was hysterical when he was thanking all the guests for coming to the funeral.
He was traumatizing some of the older guests. What about Duncan? He tried consoling his
friend. But, is Logan really his best friend? They seem to have drifted apart. Does Logan really believe his mother’s alive? And now he’s gone to Veronica. I love this show. Relax.
The Lilly Kane Files
-
Yolanda is the reason Lilly and Logan broke up.
Quotable Quotes
-
Wallace: “Did she really leave a note
on a blackberry?”
Veronica: “Talk
about post-modern.”
-
Veronica: “We used to
be friends a long time ago.” That was a perfect lead-in to the theme song.
-
Keith: “What's cooking?”
Veronica:
“Not quite sure myself. Something that ends in 'a-roni'.”
-
Logan: “If it’s not good enough, I can get you a veil.” Loved this
one.
-
Aaron: “Did you hear from your sister.”
Logan: “Ya, she sent a telegram.”
-
Aaron (when talking about Trina’s gift):
“Your mother loved tulips.”
Logan: “An overwhelming gesture.”
-
Yolanda: “I’m so glad I met you
guys.”
Lilly: “You
should. We’re the best.” I loved Lilly.
-
Keith: “He was here Saturday
night with his bunch of dudes.”
Veronica: “His posse, Dad. The Eagles had a bunch of dudes.”
-
Veronica: “I’m not scrawny. I’m
not.”
-
Logan: “I want you find my mother.” This is going to be fun.
Some Final Notes
-
Are we ever going to meet Trina?
-
That journalist had no right trespassing.
He actually had the nerve to ask for a new camera.
-
Wallace has a new hairstyle and Veronica loves
it. Personally, I’m not a big fan but it goes well on Wallace. He needs some more work to do.
-
Duncan was almost non-existent in this episode.
-
Keith hurt his back.
-
I loved Veronica acting as a hospitality hostess.
Melinda was cute.
I liked the episode. It
was good, but I want more on Lilly. 4 out of 5 stars.
