Veronica found her mother! Her mother spoiled Veronica’s
future. Her mother is a selfish lady. I was angry with Lianne. Who does she think she is? Is she even a mother? Lianne just
let her daughter get rid of all her college money for five and a half years. That’s despicable. I wonder what will happen
now. Veronica knows her father can’t support her through college. Veronica has a great heart and I’m happy she’s
fighting for her family, but I know Lianne will find some way to screw it up. I don’t like her and I don’t even
trust her.
The conflict between the two schools was an excellent touch.
The writers keep writing in the same underlying themes: poor vs. rich. Neptune High is where all the rich kids go to school.
Pan High is where all lower-class kids go to school. I have to say. The popular kids of Pan High are much nicer than the 09ers.
That was my first impression anyways. I did like how Veronica kept slipping into the perky Betty. She was convincing and great
fun. I liked when she said, “Everyone hear hates Neptune as much as I do.” Veronica would fit in great at that school. Rest
Stop Fifteen was a nice touch. It’s the halfway point between Neptune High and Pan High. That was great fun and of course,
Weevil’s running the place. Veronica had suspected him of stealing Polly. I love
that name. Polly must have gone through so much trouble that week. Sorry, I just
love saying that name. Anyways, turns out Jack (Number 13) stole Polly to use the parrot to threaten Wallace. He wanted
his stardom back and without Wallace, he would win all the bets placed on Neptune. Meanwhile, Wallace is
a very good basketball player and I’m glad Veronica had the decency to watch him play. She’s becoming a real good
friend. She even made him cookies. Veronica, you’re getting soft.
Can we please get to the meat of the episode? Ok. I hate
Lianne Mars. Get over it. At least she has an alibi now. She was with Jake Kane
in a motel room, threatening him to make Celeste back off. She tried her best to protect Veronica. I’m also glad that
Celeste now has no alibi. I hope she killed Lilly. She has to rot away in prison. Personally, I think Celeste is the source
of all these problems that led to Lilly’s death. She tried contacting Veronica and telling her that Jake might be her
real father. Liane knew about this and took action and was consequently driven away from her family. I just found her selfish
by allowing her daughter to spend all her college money on her 12-week rehab program. That’s unacceptable. I guess family
is more important though.
I’m kind of getting annoyed with Veronica’s rude
behavior around Meg. She is perhaps the only friend Veronica still has from the 09ers. Meg stood by Veronica and I love her
for that. How funny was it when Veronica and Leo ran into the Kane family at the restaurant? Celeste and Jake really hate
her.
