This
episode was intense. It would have been perfect, except they cast Paris Hilton in the show. Hated that. Anyways, this episode
was groundbreaking. For the first time, we know for a fact that Veronica believes in her father for standing by his decision
to stay in Neptune and inevitably,
she believes in hers also. She left the 09ers, she left the life she loved, and she left the life she wanted. When it all
comes down to it, Veronica believes her father. We know now that Abel Koontz did not kill Lilly; someone else did.
Veronica asked her father the 6 million dollar question,
“Dad, what made you go after Jake Kane?” The show is turning into something great. Veronica knows her father is
still researching the file, meanwhile, she knows with the traffic ticket that Lilly was alive two hours after her assumed
death. All the alibis accounted for are all thrown out the window. Was this overlooked intentionally? Or was this sloppiness?
Jake Kane is the most powerful man in Neptune. I’m sure he can easily make something disappear. Did you see the scene
when the car was going to be impounded? He has power. Veronica and her father seem to have a strong relationship but I worry.
Will this case throw them off track? Will they begin to suspect each other?
The 09ers clashed once again with the biker gang. Even though
I wasn’t crazy about Paris Hilton, the storyline was well done. There’s a strong message depicted here. How can
a rich girl fall for someone from the lower class? Veronica was right. Caitlin Ford was in it for the thrill ride. She wanted
to cheat behind her boyfriend’s back. Now, she no longer sits with the 09ers. Serves her right. Weevil was arrested
because of his cousin’s immaturity. Chardo loved Caitlin and suffered false hope. He thought this rich and popular girl
was interested in what he had to offer. He was going to run away with her and live his life his way. I strongly believe Weevil
did right by excommunicating his cousin from the gang. Chardo betrayed their trust. He betrayed his family.
On the plus side, I’m thrilled that Veronica has joined
the newspaper because she has a mind of a journalist. She stretches beyond borders and finds the truth. I also love her teacher,
Mrs. Dent, played by Sydney Tamiia Poitier. She used to play on Joan of Arcadia.
I love the actress. Veronica is also free to spend time with Duncan. That was an awkward car
ride to the beach. This will make for an interesting year.

Should we trust Troy? Is he really as nice as he seems? He better not betray Veronica.

Wallace seems like a good guy. He’ll
soon become Veronica’s sidekick. I like the fact he stayed with her even though he heard the lies. He’s a good
guy.
