This was a fascinating episode. I can feel the ending slowly approaching. We’ve got one episode before the finale and Veronica’s searching for the truth. Who raped her? Carmen was drugged on the night of Shelly Pomroy’s party. Veronica deduces that she must have been drugged with the same substance. When she confronts Tad, he says he got the GHB from Logan. Veronica never joined him on the boat and now, finally, she’s on the right path to finding who raped her. I really hope it wasn’t Logan. The writers spent all this time developing this romance.

I really felt bad for Carmen. The night of Shelly Pomroy’s party, she was drugged and was filmed doing these obscene things. I wonder what else happened that night. Time has passed and Carmen doesn’t remember a thing. A year goes by and Carmen is ready to leave that boyfriend that filmed her. He’s going to college and then joining the Navy. Her boyfriend (major jerk), Tad, threatens to send that video to the whole school. He wants to keep her. Isn’t he a jerk? Carmen herself knows she would never do such a thing and yet, the evidence is on his cell phone. She’s such a nice girl. After threatening Tad with that incriminating website, he sends the video to all his friends (more jerks!). We live in a world filled with jerks. I really wanted Veronica to upload the website and then I began thinking. Carmen was right. What would uploading that website solve? As sweet as revenge might sound, it’s not always the right thing to do. That whole scheme on the boardwalk was fun. Veronica is so clever that way.

Now, everything may soon explode in her face. Her father is ready to divorce her mother just when Lianne should be coming home sober. I hope Lianne’s twelve weeks in rehab won’t be a waste. Her daughter paid good money for that program. Furthermore, Alicia has been confronted by Clarence Wiedman and he has revealed to her that Wallace brought in that bugged plant. More trouble for Veronica. This will surely cause a hick-up in Keith’s relationship with Wallace’s mom. I don’t like this foreshadowing, but I do enjoy seeing Keith with Alicia. She’s great for him. When Veronica saw them dancing in the hotel, Keith really looked happy. They weren’t going for some overnight action in a hotel room. They simply danced.

The most awkward scene in the episode: Veronica is in Aaron’s car. Is it safe to be in a psycho’s car? Veronica just witnessed him brutally beat a man in his backyard now she’s in the passenger seat of his Benz. That conversation he had with her in the car was genuine and I think he has changed. He’s happy to see Veronica dating his son. Logan changes when he’s around Veronica. He becomes human. I don’t know how Veronica will now react to the news she received. Will she try to bring Logan down after she learnt he was the one selling GHB? The season is winding down and I’m excited to get all my questions answered.

-          What does M.A.D. stand for?

-          Weevil really got pissed. I’m glad he took care of Tad.

-          Logan was left alone at the boat. Now Veronica is pissed.

-          Duncan is not as stupid as he looks. He can escape PIs.

-          The reward for finding Duncan is 50 grand. Now Veronica can go to College, but she’s already lost 20%. Don’t ask for help.

The series is winding down. I’m not ready to see it go for two months. 5 stars
