Ain’t no mountain high enough either. I love titles like this. Anyways, it’s Winter Carnival and Neptune is acting a bit naughty. Money has been stolen left and right and people are not who they appear to be. In Neptune? You don’t say. That aside, I’m starting to like Jackie even more. What’s going on?

          There’s something about Winter Carnival that makes me want to rip apart its phony white-covered mountains and superficial game booths. I just hate them. I’m also guessing Veronica does too. Why would she volunteer to sell slushies? She has enough on her mind already. Seriously though, there were a lot of dark moments. I couldn’t watch Jackie just get torn apart in the dunk-o-rama-or-something game. She has guts doing what she did. I like her for that. She’s our new Veronica. I’m sensing that Veronica is really getting close to her. I hope Jackie doesn’t disappoint.

          Of course, someone had to steal the float with the graduation trip money inside. Ms. Hauser turned out to be more twisted than I thought. She was actually stealing money from the kids. Some people are so sad. Then of course, Weevil had to frame Thumper. I’m glad. Thumper is just plain cruel. Bothering little children is not cool. All this is starting to get to Weevil. Personally, I don’t think Weevil wants anything to do with the PCHers anymore. Frankly, I’m glad. Now he just has to find a way to bring down the Fitzpatricks. Then I’ll be really happy.

          Although I’m sensing some bad vibes about this Logan/Hannah thing, I still like them together. Hopefully, Logan isn’t just trying to get in her pants because she’s innocent. I don’t think Logan is that bad. Hannah is too vulnerable to be with Logan. Or maybe, Hannah could be the best thing for him. Maybe he needs to get over Veronica because I still don’t think he has.

          It’s brother against brother. What Cassidy did was just plain mean…and so smart. As well as disgusting. Cassidy is just too smart for Dick. Although that experience might haunt Dick for the rest of his life, he did deserve it. Why can’t he live with the fact that Cassidy has found a girl he really likes? She’s a really good girl on top of that. I love Mac and it’s time he does too.

          Keith’s fantasy came true at last. I couldn’t be happier for him. Deep down, Keith knows Terrence Cook would never do such a thing. He was absolutely right. I don’t doubt Cook’s innocence. He’s just ashamed of what he’s done. Keith was so excited just drinking a beer with his new client and just chilling. It seems that Cook was really touched by Keith’s devotion to him. Keith followed Cook from his triple A team to the majors. Now that’s a devotion to a guy you love. There’s going to have to be a time where everything comes out in the open and that time is coming. I just hope Terrence doesn’t have anything else hiding in his closet.

Some Final Notes

-          We met Weevil’s little niece Ophelia who has a mind like her uncle’s. How could he expose her to that?

-          Madison doing the art projects was annoying.

-          I found it hard to watch Veronica go through Ophelia’s bag the first time. Veronica isn’t trusting. I get that.

-          I’m glad Wallace acted the way he did. It shows he still cares for Jackie and he is obviously flirting with her. My bet: they’ll be back together in no time.

-          What was that wooden paddle with all those license plates on it in Thumper’s locker?

-          Does Veronica have a soft spot for Weevil? Is that why she didn’t turn him in?

-          I liked Principal Clemmons’ support for Veronica’s detective work. He really liked her deep down.

-          Hannah’s father looks like a mean guy. I have to hand it to Logan. He had to bend down and wave at him.

-          Veronica blackmailing J.B. with the Triton picture was smart. I forgot about the Tritons. What do they really do?
