This really felt like the good old days. I love watching
episodes where Veronica is fighting for herself. I love watching Veronica raise her game to trip anyone who trips her. It’s
why we love Veronica. Wallace is finally acting mature. I’m also glad that Parker is back in her cheery form. I thought
I was looking at Meg for a second. I’m really liking Parker and it’s funny she has a crush on Piz now. Also, Logan comes to Veronica to get
Mercer. It looks like Logan was doing some pretty naughty things the night of Parker’s rape.
What
is going on with Rory Finch/Professor Landry? Is he another suspect in the rape mystery? It wouldn’t surprise me. His
T.A. tried showing Veronica his true nature. I’m calling him T.A. because I don’t
know his name. T.A. led Veronica to the whole truth. He is looking out for Veronica. That’s freakin’ creepy.
I’m guessing Professor Landry somehow screwed him over as well. T.A. told Veronica that Landry has been going from woman
to woman. The dean’s wife is his new conquest. The T.A. knew Veronica would be good enough to follow all his leads.
She knew to follow “Rory Finch” to the Neptune Grand and she used Logan’s
connections to track down the room number. That’s the Veronica Mars way.
Piz obviously was aiming to get Veronica alone at bowling.
It was hysterical when he learnt that Wallace was canceling. Wallace immediately caught onto the fact that Piz had a crush
on Veronica. I would have a crush on Veronica too. Now he has Parker running after
him. I’m surprised she’s ready to be in a relationship again. I don’t know how someone can get over being
raped so quickly. I’m glad Parker is on speaking terms with Veronica. Also, where the hell is Mac? We need more Mac.
Keith just threw his morals out the window. I almost screamed
when Keith got hit by a car. It wasn’t as big as we would think it would be, but it did knock some sense into him. He
didn’t want to sleep with a married woman, but I guess true love always finds a way to win. That was lame. Anyways, I really like Harmony. She is someone that can be good for Keith; someone he has never
been with. Liane Mars was a deceitful bitch (I still haven’t gotten over what
she did to her husband and daughter); Harmony actually cares for Keith. She had to be married though. I’m surprised
Keith actually went through with this. It was fun to have Veronica warn Keith. She’s always doing that. Now that he’s
disregarded her wished, there is going to be one angry Veronica.
I’m glad Wallace did the responsible thing and decided
to quit the basketball team. He is looking out for his career. I think it was mature of Wallace to stay in the class and work
his ass off to succeed. I hope he does. It takes a strong character to stick in a class where he is being drilled to the ground.
Furthermore, to quit the basketball team to succeed in this course was commendable. Our
Wallace is all grown up.
Veronica and Logan are heading for some rocky ground. He
was obviously doing something he shouldn’t have been doing. He is sticking up for Mercer. I knew there was something
to Mercer the day we met him. That guy looks like he’s been all around campus. It looks like he knows every inch of
the school and raping a girl is not far from the realm of possibility. A lot of evidence was in his room. Parker clearly remembers
his cologne. It’s burned in her memory. That doesn’t mean he raped her. In his room though, Veronica found hair-clippers.
Uh-oh!
The Hearst Rape Files
-
Claire has been expelled from school for lying
about the rape. Nish is no longer editor of the school newspaper.
-
Mercer is arrested. Veronica found hair-clippers
in his drawer.
-
Logan has come forth saying he is sure Mercer didn’t do it. He was with him
at the time of the rape.
Quotable Quotes
-
O’Dell (about his wife): “She
probably ate the damn cookie herself.”
-
Keith (about Professor Landry): “Can
I take him in a fight? Be honest.”
-
Veronica: “Will bowling take my mind
off the fact that everyone is trying to screw with me?”
Piz: “It helped
for Nixon.”
-
Keith: “It’s great to talk to
someone who Bogart isn’t a word.”
-
Veronica: “Mac had this project all
week and Parker was left alone. I think we should invite her along.”
Logan: “How very ‘Emma’ of you?”
Veronica: “Did
you just make a Jane Austen reference? The end of the world is upon us.”
-
Veronica: “When I find out who did this
and make them sing like the proverbial fat lady, then will it be over.”
-
Logan: “That’s my girl spreading sunshine everywhere she goes.”
Right.
-
Veronica: “That boy doesn't
know it yet, but he’s the living dead.” Get-em Veronica!
Some Final Notes
-
Wallace’s friend was acting like an
ass. What was his problem?
-
Piz is hosting his own radio show. Parker
is madly in love with him. That’s a nice twist.
-
Piz and Wallace should hang out more. Like
Wallace said though, he won’t have a social life for awhile.
-
Where the hell is Mac? I love Tina Marjorino
and I heard she’s only coming back for episode nine. I want Mac.
-
What was Logan doing with Mercer?
-
The Neptune Grand has become a usual setting
for the show. It really looks nice.
-
I like how Logan has made friends with the best-looking employees. That’s a Logan-thing to do. Why do I feel like Logan has been cheating with Veronica?
-
Logan got an A in sociology? He took ten extra seconds. Is that considered a fail?
Where was Wallace?
-
I’m surprised Lamb arrested Mercer just
based on Veronica’s findings.
-
I’m happy Nish was pulled off the
newspaper. She is starting to really piss me off. I don’t understand though why Dean O’Dell would expel Claire?
She didn’t do anything wrong.
Probably the best episode
this season. 5 stars
